  • A Glimpse into Our Past

Dijnabië was founded in 1798 by Jandré du Preez, a visionary from South Africa, who embarked on the ambitious task of creating a new territory. By 1802, the German language was of ficially adopted, and in 1807, Jandré crafted the national flag, where red stood for courage and sacrifice, black represented independence and resolve, and white symbolized purity and harmony. Despite its core values, Dijnabië confronted war in 1823, resulting in the obliteration of their motto, "Vrótën Värön," which translates to freedom and bravery. In the end, Dijnabië triumphed, with its defenders celebrated as "Dijnevär," reflecting their deep-rooted pride in the nation. More insights into Dijnabië's history will be explored in a future installment.

In 1825, an attempt was made by two Russian assassins to eliminate Supreme Leader Jandre du Preez through arsenic-laced vodka, but they were caught after a meeting with Russian leader Alexander Pavlovich Romanov. Dupri emerged unscathed, yet the episode strained ties between Russia and Dijnabië, raising suspicions of a planned assassination. By 1827, Jandre du Preez claimed the throne, heralding the dawn of a monarchy in Dijnabië, with Dupri being the kingdom's founder and its first reigning king.
